High School Photography Student Art Show Reception

Connections:
A Tribute to Paula Lerner

During the 2012/13
school year, a group of Belmont High School Photography students created a
project inspired by the style of the late Belmont photographer, Paula Lerner.

By studying Ms.
Lerner’s publications and focusing on one or more aspects within her portfolio,
the students were able to explore and emulate Ms. Lerner’s work. Each student
also reflected on her style, evaluating the progress together as a class.  In working from frame to frame and roll to
roll, the students gained insights that they were able to apply to their own
vision and voice.
