Family Program: The Art of Tracking

What animals live in this habitat? What do they eat, and where do they sleep? There are many different kinds of animals that live in the forest, and even though we don't see them all, they leave plenty of signs for us to find - tracks, scat, nests, and more! Come to Beaver Brook Reservation to learn the art of tracking, where we will use our observation skills to uncover the hidden secrets of the forest. Great for ages 7 and up.

Please dress in warm layers. We will be walking off-trail, so please wear clothes and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting a little muddy.

Registration is strongly encouraged. To register and for weather cancellation updates, please email AMCOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org with the number of participants and children's ages.

*December - March, programs may change in nature or cancel due to winter weather. Check this event listing at OutdoorsRx.org for updates in the case of adverse weather.
