Nathan Silver, an Arlington native, will be having a sneak preview screening of his latest feature film, EXIT ELENA at the Regent Theater on Friday, January 18 at 7:30PM. EXIT ELENA is a darkly comedic home movie about a live-in aide and a family in crisis. Silver and his mother, Cindy Silver, who co-stars in the movie, will be on hand for a post-screening Q+A.

Silver, a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, shot the film in 2010 in and around his parents’ house in Lexington. The film had its world premiere at Edinburgh International Film Festival and picked up an honorable mention for Best Narrative Feature at Woodstock Film Festival. EXIT ELENA has received praise from Filmmaker Magazine, Indiewire, The Hollywood Reporter, and Hammer to Nail.
