Violins are fascinating instruments that have challenged, entertained, disciplined and bonded people for over 400 years!  Whatever your child’s level of interest or long-term goals may be, the study of an instrument is always a compliment to their academic, emotional and social development.

Lessons are designed for the complete beginner in a small group setting.  Students will learn beginning music reading in conjunction with Suzuki-style (rote) learning.  Daily home practice will be an essential part of the program and students will be responsible for completing a practice chart.  Students may continue in the spring session with group setting or enroll in private instruction.

Instrument Rental

Until students are big enough to play on a full-size instrument,(approx. ages 11-14) it really makes sense to rent.  I recommend Johnson String Instrument.  A 3 month rental (minimum term) will cost $75.  Please see their website or visit the store for detailed information.
