Avenue Q School Edition presented by Arlington Children's Theatre

Avenue Q: School Edition is a laugh-out-loud musical and an affectionate parody of Sesame Street. It tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment on remote Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, the neighborhood is far from ordinary. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

This Arlington Children's Theatre (ACT) production features twenty-five talented teens from Arlington and surrounding communities. The real stars, though, are the loveable, quirky puppets these actors built. The puppets act and sing among their human companions.

Winner of the Tony “Triple Crown” for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, Avenue Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. Though the play contains puppets, This “School Edition” version of the show has some mature themes and is appropriate for those aged 12 and older.
