Arlington International Film Festival

A NEW GENERATION OF WINNING FILMS


The 2nd annual Arlington International Film Festival shows cinematic masterpieces from filmmakers around the world. It is also dedicated to promoting a new generation of filmmakers. La Joive De Vire (Joy of Living), a 5 min short by Jeremy Vassiliou from Montreal,


Canada, is the winner of the “Best Documentary in High School Category” and will be featured as part of the festival on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Regent Theater in Arlington, MA.

Thirty five high school students competed for the five awards given for “best” in category by the festival’s Selection Committee. The winner of the “Best Narrative in High School Category is Molineux by Jacob Sussman from Wayland, MA. Other winning category titles include In Your Heart and The Crown of Life; Cherry Vanilla & Aitun Traditions receiving ‘Honorable Mention”.
