Arlington Celebrates Political Milestones will be a historic event, not only because it will celebrate the achievements of two outstanding Latinos, but also because it will bring community members together and strenghten relationships. This event will clearly exemplify the Arlington Way.
A celebration honoring Walter Tejada, Arlington County Board Chairman, and Emma Violand-Sanchez, School Board Chair. The first time in history of the Commonwealth of Virginia that two Latinos became chairs of the most important governing bodies in Arlington County.
