EulipiaJazz Concert Series Launch
EulipiaJazz — a new production company based in Arlington dedicated to creating opportunities for local musicians and multidisciplinary artists to perform and collaborate — will present the first concert in what will be a three-part series aimed at igniting collective synergy and creating a vibrant scene for great performances. Planned to coincide with Boston’s Jazz Week and made possible in part by a generous grant from the Arlington Arts Council, the concert will bring together a group of highly talented and diverse artists presenting an eclectic program of original musical compositions and visual art. Taking the stage will be Muse Stew featuring Scott Samenfeld, Karen Gruber, and Susanna Fiore (and guest artists Todd Brunel and Jimmy Repa); and Flametet, a jazz-improvisational group featuring Kit Demos, Charlie Kohlhase, Jeff Platz, John Mclellan, Pandelis Karayorgis, and Todd Brunel. Visual art by Ivy Demos, whose work is informed by an improvisational jazz-like aesthetic, will add another layer to this multifaceted event. Tickets, which are priced at $15, can be purchased at the door.
