Belmont Coop Host Dr. Larry Cohen
Belmont Cooperative Nursery School will be hosting a workshop
by Dr. Larry Cohen on
Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
The workshop will take place
in the social hall of St. Joseph Parish located at 130 Common Street in
Belmont. Tickets are $10 per person and are available for purchase at the
door.

Dr. Cohen will
be discussing his new book, The Opposite
of Worry: The Playful Parenting
Approach to Childhood Anxieties and Fears. He is the author of Playful Parenting, and
is a licensed psychologist specializing in children's play and play
therapy. Dr. Cohen is also
the co-author, with Anthony DeBenedet, of The Art of Roughhousing.
He wrote two books about children's friendships and peer relationships
with Michael Thompson and Catherine O'Neill Grace: Best Friends, Worst Enemies, and Mom, They're Teasing Me.
