Bach and Brahms concert

Though Johannes Brahms and J. S. Bach
lived in different eras, the musical bonds between them were deep and enduring.
From early in life, Brahms studied Bach’s creations, and he was deeply
influenced by them. The Jameson Singers, Boston’s newest choral ensemble,
celebrates this remarkable artistic connection by presenting works on sacred
texts by both these musical geniuses. The concert includes short masses, a
cantata, and two extraordinary motets.

Please join us for a marvelous
opportunity to explore a grand musical legacy and experience some of the most
affecting choral music ever composed.
