A Resident of Arlington Master of Ceremony for the 2013 AIFF

Paul Wehrlin, a resident of
Arlington for 25 years, loves all things Arlington!

The
Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) is pleased to announce that Paul
Wehrlin, a 25 year resident of Arlington will be the Master of Ceremonies for
the 2013 AIFF Opening Night. Paul’s
passion for international arts and culture began at a young age.  Raised by an American father and European
mother, Paul grew up and attended school on both continents, and was exposed to
many diverse cultures and customs.  His love
of travel has taken him to countries across the globe, and he is an avid
proponent of cross-cultural education, cooperation and understanding.

Paul has a strong appreciation and love for the arts,
including music, theater, and film.   He
has been a singer and featured soloist with the Arlington-based Mystic Chorale
since 1997.  He can currently be seen as
co-anchor of the weekly Arlington Public News program on Arlington’s cable
access TV station, Arlington Community Media, Inc.

The Arlington International Film Festivals mission is to
foster appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people
around the globe through independent film — to nurture the next generation of
filmmakers within our community. We screen narrative and documentary features
and shorts plus a special category of short submissions by high school
filmmakers. Panel discussions or Q & A’s follow many special screenings,
framing provocative conversations with filmmakers/producers, academics, as well
as the business community. www.AIFFest.org
