Week Ahead: Quartet San Francisco, Little Red Robin Hood and a Workers Support Group

: Today at 7:30 p.m., multiple Grammy-nominated Quartet San Francisco returns to , performing selections from jazz to tango, pop to funk, blues to bluegrass, gypsy swing to big band and beyond. 

: Calling all talented youth. Do you make jewelry? Greeting cards? Magnet art? Do you sew, knit or paint? Bring your art work to sell at the Robbins Library’s Summer Craft Fair. The event runs from 10 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, Aug. 9, for ages 8 to 18.

In Little Red, the scarlet-caped hero travels through Sherwood Forest with his basket promising to steal from the rich grandma to give to the poor grandma against the wolf's wishes. The actors will be hoping for volunteer assistance of young audience members in this fun-filled and dramatic presentation. Ideally suited for ages 3 years and up. Space is limited, so be sure to pick up a ticket a 30 min prior to the performance.
