Town Offices Closed, Trash Delayed

Today is Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 8. Here are five things you need to know.

1. From the town: Town Administrative Offices Closed Monday, Oct. 8: The following town offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 8: 730 Mass Ave. (Town Hall), 51 Grove St. (DPW Administrative Offices & Inspectional Services), 27 Maple St. (Senior Center), 442 Summer St. (Recreation Office) and the Robbins Library. Regular hours for all offices resume Tuesday Oct. 9.

2. From the town: No Trash Collection Monday, Oct. 8, One-Day Delay Rest of Week: There will be no trash collection on Monday, Oct. 8, due to the Columbus Day holiday. Trash normally collected on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, and there will be a one-day delay for the remainder of the week. The Friday pick-up will be collected on Saturday. This schedule applies to trash, recycling and yard waste. For missed pick-ups, please call JRM directly at 1-800-323-4285.
