This Week's Pick: Eat Local at Za

Don't be afraid to try something new at this East Arlington eatery.

Don’t feel like cooking and don’t know where to go? Want to try something new or maybe an old favorite that you’ve forgotten about? Each week, Arlington Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here’s this week’s choice:

– Chances are if you live in Arlington, you’ve at least heard of this two-letter restaurant known for its . But if you haven’t gone, well, you’re missing out. The ever-changing menu adapts to the seasons, as Za uses fruits and vegetables from local farms, such as the Verrill Farm in Concord, Eva’s Green in South Dartmouth, Angelini Farm in Wrentham and local farmers’ markets. Here, you can find unique pizzas and salads, including the “mac `n` cheese” pizza with elbow macaroni, caramelized onions, cream sauce, four cheese and toasted bread crumbs. Za also has a Cambridge location. 138 Massachusetts Ave. 781-316-2334. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Prices: Pizzas about $10, salads about $7.50.
