This Weekend in Arlington: High School Sports and a Magic Show

Today is Friday, Jan. 11. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) The Arlington High boys’ basketball team is at home at 7 p.m. tonight against Lexington. The girls’ team is on the road at Lexington at the same time. The high school’s wrestling team is at Winchester at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the girls’ and boys’ ice hockey teams are at Winchester at 2:10 and 4 p.m. Saturday, respectively. Winchester’s home ice is the O’Brien Rink in Woburn (55 Locust St.).

The Arlington Catholic girls’ basketball team is at home at 6:30 p.m. tonight against Cardinal Spellman. The boys’ team is on the road at Cardinal Spellman at the same time. The girls’ ice hockey team is at home at 6 p.m. Saturday against Austin Prep. The boys’ team is on the road at Archbishop Williams at 7 p.m. Saturday.

2.) Jeff Jam will perform at 5 p.m. today at Henry Bear’s Park. Read more.

4.) Bob the Magic Guy will perform at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Regent Theatre. Read more.
