Support the Arlington High Girls' Ice Hockey Team at Not Your Average Joe's

Also, a talk for local parents, a singalong at Robbins and the Workers in Transition Support Group.

Today is Tuesday, Nov. 13. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) Today, and every Tuesday in November, if you mention the Arlington High girls’ ice hockey team at Not Your Average Joe’s, the restaurant will donate 15 percent of your bill to the team (take-out orders included).

2.) Dr. Nassir Ghaemi will give the talk, from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight in the Ottoson Middle School cafeteria. Parents of students (Pre-K to 12) are invited to attend.

3.) “Spanish Singalong with Raquel” is from 10-10:30 a.m. this morning at Robbins Library. Participation is limited. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get a free admission ticket.

4.) If you’re in between jobs, the Workers in Transition Support Group meets at 10 a.m. this morning in Robbins Library.

5.) Showers are likely today (70 percent chance) and possibly even a thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 50s.
