Roadwork on Mass Ave in Arlington Heights Begins Today

The work by National Grid is expected to go through July.

Starting today, National Grid will resume its gas infrastructure improvements on Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington Heights, according to the town.

The work, which began last fall, will be taking place in the westbound lane of Massachusetts Avenue across the street from the at Richardson Avenue to the Arlington Heights bus terminal, and in the southbound lane of Park Avenue, from to Paul Revere Road.

The work is expected to be completed in the last week of July, and both roads should remain open at all times.

However, there will be parking restrictions, so residents are being asked to observe on-street parking and traffic signs.

Roadwork is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays in the business district and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays outside of it.
