Meeting on Upcoming Water Projects Thursday

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority is holding a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in Town Hall.

Today is Wednesday, Feb. 20. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) From the town: MWRA Public Meeting on Upcoming Projects Thursday, Feb. 21: On Thursday, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority will be holding a public meeting in Arlington to discuss plans for pipeline replacement and extension in Arlington Heights and Brunswick Road areas. The meeting will be at Town Hall Auditorium at 7 p.m. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is not expected to begin until late 2013 or early 2014. 2.) There’s an Egyptian Video Game Design with Children’s Technology Workshop (for kids in grades 3-6) from 12:30-2:30 p.m. this afternoon at the Robbins Library. Space is very limited. Please arrive 30 minutes early to secure a ticket.
