Girls' Hoops in Arlington Tonight

The Arlington High and Arlington Catholic girls' basketball teams are both at home.

Today is Tuesday, Dec. 18. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) The Arlington High girls’ basketball team is home at 7 p.m. tonight against Watertown. The boys’ team is at Watertown at the same time.

2.) The Arlington Catholic girls’ basketball team will host Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 6:30 p.m. tonight. The school’s boys and girls’ track teams will be at Cardinal Spellman at 4:30 p.m.

3.) Twenty-six Christmas trees will be lit with white lights at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Arlington Lodge of Elks on Pond Lane to honor the 26 victims of Friday’s shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. Read more.
