Five Things: Arlington Farmers' Market Opens Wednesday

Today is Tuesday, June 12. Here are five things you need to know.

1. It’s expected to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 71, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The Arlington Farmers’ Market is only a day away. The market will open for the 2012 season Wednesday, June 13. Its hours are 2 to 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday, and it runs through the end of October. New this season, the market will have three wine vendors and a vendor for chowders and gazpacho. The market is held in Arlington Center’s Russell Common parking lot, at the intersection of Mystic and Winslow streets.
