Christmas Tree Pickup in Arlington This Week

Also, a new self-serve 'froyo' spot on tonight's Board of Selectmen's agenda.

Today is Monday, Jan. 7. Here are five things you need to know:

1.) From the town: Christmas trees will be collected by JRM the week of Jan. 7-11 on your regular trash day. Trees in plastic bags will not be collected. Wreaths and garland should go out in regular trash (because they are wrapped in wire).

Also note, NO yard waste will be collected during this week. Weekly collections of yard waste will resume the week of April 8. For additional details on how to dispose of your Christmas tree, please visit arlingtonma.gov/recycle.
