Be Advised: Temporary Changes at Robbins Library, Community Safety Building

If you're headed to either spot in the near future, take note.

Today is Friday, Aug. 31. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Today should be mostly sunny with a high near 92, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday and Sunday should also be mostly sunny with highs of 82 and 77, respectively, while Labor Day is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 78.

2. From the town: The parking lot is currently being paved and will be closed until Tuesday, Sept. 4. The library is open regular hours today. The library is closed over the weekend as usual during the summer months, plus this Monday, Sept. 3, for Labor Day. Library hours can be viewed online at robbinslibrary.org.

3. From the town: The is in the second phase of its renovation project to make structural improvements to the building. The building is open as usual; however, the public entrance to the police lobby has been temporarily moved to the rear of the building. Signs are on-site to direct visitors to the temporary entrance, which is expected to be utilized for 4-6 weeks.
