Arlington Toddler Meets Olympic Gold Medalist

See who Arlington's Abe Rudzinsky met last Friday.

Two-year-old Abe Rudzinsky, of Arlington, met an Olympic gold medalist last Friday at the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton.

Rudzinsky was greeted by Kayla Harrison, who won gold in judo at this summer’s London games. Harrison, a Wakefield resident, was the first American to win an Olympic medal in the sport, and she spoke to kids at the hospital about the years of hard work it took.

You may remember Rudzinsky, as he was highlighted on Arlington Patch in June after taking part in the 5th Annual New Balance Heart Break Hill 5K with his father and brother (in matching M&M costumes). The race raises money for the Franciscan Hospital.
