AB Crew's Routenberg Recruited by BU

Arlington senior Annalise Routenberg has been recruited by Boston University's rowing team.

Annalise Routenberg, currently a senior at Arlington High School, has been recruited by Boston University’s rowing team. Stacey Rippetoe, BU women’s rowing coach, praised Routenberg for “her high level of determination, her eagerness to improve, and strong desire to be a part of our program at BU,” noting that “Annalise has been a very positive leader on her team and has a contagious passion for training and rowing that I can't wait to put to work at BU.” She will begin rowing with BU for the fall 2013 season.

Routenberg is the first member of Arlington-Belmont (AB) Crew to be recruited by a Division I rowing program. The AB Crew program has grown rapidly in recent years, and head coach Laura Rothman said “Annalise has worked extremely hard over the past four years to accomplish her goals, and we are proud of her dedication. We are excited for her to join the Boston University team next year and look forward to following her progress.”
