Common Ground, the Allston gastropub opening its second location in Arlington Center, is now shooting for a July 2014 opening, according to its Twitter handle, @CommonGroundARL.

Originally, the 106-seat restaurant/bar, with a back function room, was planning to open in December or Jan. 1. However, delays are common in the restaurant business.

Bob and Laurie O’Guin, of Newton, are behind the restaurant, which is moving into the old Gemma space at 319 Broadway on Broadway Plaza.

Once open, the 5,200-square-foot restaurant will stay open until midnight.

Nothing has changed inside the space for months. All construction had stopped cold.

I hope they get along with their neighbors, outside seating is going to be tight!

In the capitol budget for TM to vote on is $20k for Broadway Plaza work, presumably to remove the steps.
