Bought Tom Yum Koong II’s equipment

The Rizzas bought Tom Yum Koong II equipment for $120,000, according to their wine/malt license, and are planning to put about $10,000 into renovations.

Rent

The Rizzas are paying $5,671 per month in rent to VAM Corporation for use of the roughly 2,000-square-foot property ($68,052 per year). They signed a five-year lease, with an option for an extension.

Tom Yum Koong II

Tom Yum Koong II opened in 2009. Earlier this year, Tom Yum Koong III closed in Newton. However, the original Tom Yum Koong on Forest Street in Medford Square remains open.

Thai E-sarn’s website will be www.thaiesarncuisine.com when it’s up and running.
