The restaurant's menu has 55 lunch specials.

Szechuan’s Dumpling, the new Chinese restaurant in Arlington Heights, is opening Thursday, Feb. 21, according to a sign in one of its front windows.

The restaurant, which replaces Jade Garden at 1360 Mass. Ave., had menus available outside Tuesday.

The restaurant’s lengthy menu (296 items in all) includes nine kinds of “dumpling/ravioli,” in addition to a number of beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetable dishes. It has 55 lunch specials for $6.95. The lunch specials are served with soup and white rice and are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Szechuan’s Dumpling does not have a buffet listed on its menu, but it will deliver (781-648-8882).

The restaurant’s hours are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday noon to 10 p.m.

We’ll have more on Szechuan’s Dumpling once it opens.

I think they have XLB on the menu - that will be an acid test for 'em. And can they make my mapo tofu or twice cooked pork spicy enough..

The food is absolutely delicious and the people very nice, but one can expect very long waits until everything settles a bit. We waited more than one hour for food but are willing to try again perhaps by targeting different times ...
