Shakespeare in the Park, "As You Like It"

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players....

The stage is set for Shakespeare in the Park: “As You Like It,” performed by Arlington Children’s Theatre, on Sunday, July 22, at 5:00 pm, in Menotomy Rocks Park..  This Twelfth annual Shakespeare in the Park production is presented by the Arlington Center for the Arts, and co-sponsored by the Friends of Menotomy Rocks Park and the Friends of Robbins Farm Park.

ACT’s talented troupe of teen actors, ages 13-18, will present Shakespeare’s classic comedy in a production that promises to be great fun for kids, families and adults, with a raucous combination of wrestling, cross-dressing, Cher, milking cows, sibling rivalry, line dancing, love struck fools, and Shakespeare's famous "All the world's a stage" monologue!

Always a highlight of summer in Arlington, spectators are encouraged to come early, bring a picnic, and enjoy one of the most beautiful green spaces in Arlington. The sponsors will sell desserts and beverages to supplement your picnic baskets.

The performance is free, but free will donations will be collected to offset the costs of the production.
