On Saturday, May 19th at 7:30 p.m., pianist Shizue Sano will present a concert at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 74 Pleasant St., Arlington. Ms. Sano, a faculty member at the Longy School of Music, has toured extensively both in the United States and abroad. She is active in solo and chamber music performances and has appeared as a soloist with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Tokyo Philharmonic and the Uccle Philharmonic of Belgium.
Saturday’s performance, “Music in the Air”, will feature selection from the works of Debussy, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Beach, Liszt and Chopin. The concert will be approximately 90 minutes long and will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artist.
