Lunch Lady and Punk Farm Fun at Fox Library!
Attention kids and grown-ups! Everyone’s favorite Lunch Lady author will be coming tothe Fox Branch Library to help kick off the town’s summer reading program.
In a presentation for kids ages kindergarten and up, Jarrett will discuss how he grew froma child who loved to write stories and draw, into an award winning author and illustrator.He will also share his writing strategies, share his artwork, sign books, and discuss theimportance of following your dreams.
Best known for his Lunch Lady graphic novel series and Punk Farm picture books, Jarretthas authored and illustrated 18 books, including ten picture books and eight graphicnovels.

Jarrett has been passionate about storytelling through words and pictures since he was akid. He began his professional career by illustrating educational readers for a nationalpublisher while he was still a college student. Then, just six months after graduation,Jarrett received his first writing contract! He hasn’t looked back since. His Lunch Ladyseries has won two Children's Choice Book Awards and his Punk Farm and Lunch Ladybooks are both slated to become feature films.
