This session’s student showcases have an exciting high number of participants, with about 120 students in solo/duo performances and 150 students participating in ensembles.  These students range in ages 6 years old to adults, with different levels of musicianship. These two weeks of jam-packed performances are open to the public, free, and all-ages and provide the public the opportunity to come into The Real School of Music and see what we’ve been up to during the Spring Session.  We invite the public to come to our student showcases during these two weeks and listen and support our hard working students.

With equal excitement we will end our two full weeks of student showcasing with chosen ensembles from our Spring Session with a big finale fundraiser event at Johnny D’sUptown in Davis Square, Somerville on Saturday, June 23rd, 4p-6p.  These ensemble bands will be performing a mixture of original material and covers throughout the evening.   100% of the proceeds from this show will go directly to fund the Rock School Scholarship Fund. Be sure to join The Real School of Music at Johnny D's on June 23rd and enjoy the musical talents of performers of all ages, great food and comfortable atmosphere.  For more information on Johnny D’s, see www.johnnyds.com or call (617) 776-2004.  $5 cash cover at the door for all non-performers--all ages welcome.  An adult must accompany anyone under 21.
