Lexpress Bus Coming to Arlington Heights

The Lexington bus service will expand July 1.

Lexington’s Lexpress bus service is coming to Arlington Heights, starting July 1.

The new Lexpress Route 1, which begins in Lexington Center’s Depot Square, will go down Bow Street and then circle through Arlington Heights via Lowell Street, Park Avenue and Mass. Ave.

The bus will run once per hour from 6:30 a.m. (7:30 a.m. during the summer) to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Unlike the MBTA, Lexpress buses do not have designated stops – riders just need to wave the bus down, like hailing a cab. Once you board, just tell the driver your destination.
