Yard waste must be placed in clearly marked barrels labeled “yard waste” or in paper bags specifically designed for yard waste. Free “Yard Trimmings” bumper stickers are available for residents at the DPW Yard, 51 Grove St., in order to clearly label barrels.

No plastic bags full of yard waste will be accepted as yard waste or trash, as plastic bags are not allowed at the compost facility.
