Have You Seen East Arlington’s Flock of Turkeys?

Residents are reporting that a flock of turkeys (technically a “rafter of turkeys”) has been roaming the streets of East Arlington in recent weeks – yes, they survived Thanksgiving.

East Arlington’s Mary Parent said she’s seen a flock of 11 wild turkeys near Margaret Street, White Street and Dorothy Road. “They currently roost at night behind my house,” she said Tuesday.

Gabriel Teninbaum sent us one of the above photos of a turkey on Lake Street before last weekend’s snowstorm.
