Gymboree Opens in Arlington Heights

New location offers programs for children ages zero to five.

Arlington welcomed a new business today with the official unveiling of a Gymboree "Play & Music" location, run by franchisee, David Mitchell, who also operates the Newton and Acton stores.

In just four short weeks, and with the support of many organizations including Gymboree Corp., the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Bierbrier Development; the location at 1410 Massachusetts Ave. was transformed into the bright and colorful play space typical of Gymboree's innovative and much loved parent-child programs.

This new location also boasts a large separate room, allowing for Art and School Skills programs to run at the same time as daily play & learn sessions for children from birth to five years old. Lesson plans and the entire location layout change every two weeks, keeping this fun and friendly environment new and interesting to youngsters every time they visit. Enrolled children ages three to five can participate in 'drop-off' classes - some lasting two hours ... affording parents an hour or two for errands without little ones in tow.

Even though doors weren't officially opened (the first day of business was March 19), more than 100 families stopped by ... some buying up popular Gymboree items as shelves were stocked!

Gymboree is not in the center. Its in Arlington Heights in the same building as Unleashed.
