First Arlington Alive Summer Arts Block Party Saturday

The first Arlington Alive Summer Arts Block Party is this Saturday, July 13, at Broadway Plaza.

The Arlington Center festival will have live music, visual arts, theater and dance, as well as short films and a family arts area. It’s set for noon to 5 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, July 14.

On Saturday night (rain or shine), the Regent Theatre will have more activities, including music, theatrical performances, dance and short films, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Free parking will be available at the Russell Commons municipal lot behind Arlington Catholic High School.

The event is being sponsored by the Arlington Committee on Tourism and Economic Development and the Arlington Center for the Arts.
