The season of "This Old House" featuring the Arlington Italianate will premiere at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, on WGBH 2.
The following email was sent to Arlington Patch from WGBH spokesman Michael Raia Friday afternoon.
"Due to an operational error, last night’s scheduled premiere of This Old House’s Arlington project on WGBX 44 and New Hampshire Explore was mistakenly preempted by a rebroadcast of the final episode of This Old House’s project on the Jersey Shore. WGBH regrets the error and apologizes to all viewers who had hoped to enjoy a new episode showcasing a local project.
The premiere of the Arlington project will be broadcast as scheduled tomorrow (Saturday, January 4) at 5pm on WGBH 2. In addition, WGBX 44 will air a special back-to-back stack of the first two Arlington episodes on Thursday, January 9 at 8pm and 8:30pm."
An Arlington home dating back to 1872 will be renovated on this season of “This Old House.”
The season premiere is at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, on PBS (See above for correct time and date).
Heather and Malcolm Faulds, who have two kids, own the Italianate-style home.
The season will also highlight different aspects of Arlington, including the water tower in Arlington Heights.
