John Mirak Foundation Gives to Elder Services

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) recently received a $1,000 grant from the John Mirak Foundation.  CESI will use the generous grant to purchase nutritious meals for low-income elders in the Arlington area.  The staff and clients at the Arlington CESI program are very grateful for continued support from the John Mirak Foundation.
A non-profit Adult Day Health organization serving elders since 1979, CESI operates centers in Concord, Groton, Burlington, Arlington and Milton.  CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week.  The mission of CESI is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by promoting health and independence, and enhancing the quality of life for elders living in the community.  For more information, please call Esther Robbins at 781-641-1070 x2 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
