Elite Youth Swim Team available at Brandeis

Beginning on September 23rd Crimson Aquatics one of the nation’s premier age group swimming teams will begin operating out of the Brandeis University Linsey Pool.

Crimson will begin with programs for children ages 8 to 13. Swimmers will benefit from the experience of the coaching staff under the direction of Coach Adriana (Marmolejo) Schack.

Adriana (Marmolejo) Schack is a three-time Olympian who competed in Sydney, Athens and Beijing for her native Mexico. Adriana retired in 2010 after being ranked top-25 in the world for 10 years in the 200 Breaststroke. Adriana overcame many obstacles in her career to become the only female Mexican swimmer to qualify for three Olympic Games.

The Crimson Mission

To provide a program that develops the best training environment available to competitive swimmers in the New England area and nationally. To teach, train and motivate young athletes to achieve their potential in competitive swimming in the belief that this experience will provide "life skills" that will prove to be invaluable assets throughout their swimming career and adult life.

Philosophical Objectives

At each level of the program, swimmers are instructed to strive for excellence. Excellence in this sense represents the achievement of a level at which the individual knows he/she has done the utmost to become the best he/she is capable of becoming. This philosophy is consistent throughout the program.

The Crimson Aquatics program will be aimed at long term success with the objective of producing a long term "family" of progressing swimmer/athletes; receiving the benefits of lifelong health, social growth, and successful academic and athletic performance.

Crimson Aquatics will provide multi-level programs, geared to the individual needs of our swimmers. We will emphasize mental preparation, fundamental skills, physical conditioning, productive work habits, character growth, healthy competition, and most of all enjoyment.

All of Crimsons coaches, are members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
