East Cambridge Savings Bank Gives to Elder Services

Arlington, MA – Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. recently received a $1200 grant from East Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation.  Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) will use these generous funds to supplement the cost of nutritious meals for low-income elders living in Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford and other nearby communities.  East Cambridge Savings Bank is dedicated to serving the community and supports programs designed for improving quality of life.  CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization based in Lexington, with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord.  CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week.  The mission of CESI is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by promoting health and independence, and enhancing the quality of life for elders living in the community.  To schedule a visit or find out more information, contact Esther Robbins at 781-641-1070 x2 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
