Over by the Old Schwab Mill the bridge that crosses the Mill Brook was recently redone and the "guard rails" are two artistic "hoops" in a nod to the woodwork done at the Schwab Mill.
Unfortunately, these rails are useless for preventing a toddler from falling into the brook or in stopping a vehicle from going down the embankment on either side.
This bridge and unsafe rails are within sight of the bikepath. Look at the attached pictures. Anyone who falls into the currently raging Mill Brook would be swept away into the underground tunnel for 1/4 of a mile.
Beware, keep your children away from this bridge!
