All proceeds support adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber

BOSTON— Celebrate the season with a little holiday cheer that will help others. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s 2013 holiday collection includes 16 original cards designed by New England artists, photographers, and Dana-Farber patients. Also for sale are decorative candles, ornaments, and, for a second year, an exclusive Alex and Ani Snowflake Bangle. The entire collection is now available online with all proceeds benefiting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, supporting adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research.

Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design limited edition Snowflake Bangle is available in Russian Silver or Russian Gold for $32. The bangle, created exclusively for the Dana-Farber Holiday Greetings Collection, can be purchased online and will be available in all Paper Store locations and at Dana-Farber’s Friends’ Corner Gift Shop beginning in October.

The collection’s holiday cards are available in packages of 20 for $19.99, and depict festive scenes of winter in Boston as well as traditional holiday designs. Both cards and envelopes can be imprinted with personal messages or company logos for an additional fee. Two images in the collection were contributed by Wareham-based Marian Heath Greeting Cards. Photo cards are available through Dana-Farber partner, LookLoveSend, and customized corporate e-cards and e-packs are available on the Holiday Greetings site at www.dana-farberholiday.org.

The collection also includes three candles and two ornaments featuring beach, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots holiday themes for $19.99 each. 

Several New England retailers are selling Dana-Farber’s holiday products in store, including The Paper Store, Stop & Shop, Nordstrom locations in MA, The Christmas Dove, The Crafty Yankee, Circle Furniture, Cooper Jewelers, and Terrazza. The products can also be purchased at Dana-Farber’s Friends’ Corner Gift Shop.
