Fun Times with Adela & Jude and the New Web Series Produced and Broadcast in Arlington

Adela & Jude, traveling musicians who call Arlington home, announce the launch of a new web series that harkens back to the days of variety shows

Adela & Jude are recent additions to the growing list of artists who call Arlington home. While primarily musicians, they can be truly called entertainers - diving into painting, metalworking, film and video, performance art and really what every strikes a chord with them.

A new web series "Raise and Praise with Adela and Jude" - has gotten them attention of many local and national fans. The couple tours almost non-stop during the spring through fall, and when winter comes they return to their homebase in Arlington to winter. They record, write and get recharged for the next season full of travel and touring.

Adela and Jude achieve a long reach to fans thanks to popular website  like Reverbnation (where Adela & Jude sit at No. 1 among the hundred of Boston bands in the popular "Americana" genre.) Placing in the top 20 nationally has given this duo a growing national fan base that they reach during their weekly web show.

Happily ensconced in their production studio located in the lower level of their home, each week the duo offers up music, rare film shorts, inspirational stories and more.   Once you see them in action, it's hard not to tune in each week - much of the show is tongue in cheek, although the couple does work to bring a much more serious message. "We're a band of faith" says Jude. "We believe in a power greater than ourselves, and three basic tenets; be nice, give foregiveness and ask for forgiveness. Stick to these principles and life will treat you pretty well"

Seems like like has been treating the couple pretty well, with Club Passim in Cambridge recognizing them with the IMF award, and upcoming appearances opening for the venerable Freakwater duo at Johnny D's in Somerville on Jan. 13th.

Tune them in on the Web, Monday nights at 9 p.m.:
