Register Now for Arlington's Town Day Run

Five things you need to know, Wednesday, Aug. 14.

1.) The Walter V. Moynihan Town Day Road Race may not be until Saturday, Sept. 21, but you can already register now. Not only does registering early help the race organizers plan for the event, but it also may hold you to running it. The race is 2.7 miles, mostly along the Minuteman bike path, and proceeds benefit Arlington Youth Activities (race is $20). More information >>

2.) The Friends of the Council on Aging 5K is also in September, on Sunday, Sept. 8. More information >>

3.) In case you missed it, a contestant with Arlington ties had an impressive run on “America’s Got Talent” but was ultimately voted off after the quarterfinals. Read more >>
