Martin Luther King Jr. Event in Arlington Monday

Arlington’s 26th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Observance on Monday, Jan. 20, at Town Hall will feature guest speaker Peniel Joseph, a history professor at Tufts University.

Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with light refreshments, and the program will start at 7:30 p.m.

Music will be provided by Arlington High’s Jazz Band and Madrigal Singers.

There will be a collection of non-perishable goods for the Arlington Food Pantry at the event, and a free-will offering will benefit public and nonprofit programs that further the goals of Dr. King.
