DESCRIPTION:How do we explain voter choice in the 2012 election? And what
does the election mean for the future of the economy and jobs\, health
care\, entitlement reform\, tax policy\, and immigration? In this post-e
lection roundtable with political scientists Andrea Campbell and Devin C
aughey of MIT and Deborah Schildkraut of Tufts University\, we will anal
yze the outcome of the election and discuss the implications for public
policy. With the nation's fiscal future hanging in the balance\, the 201
2 presidential and congressional races offered voters two starkly differ
ent visions for the role of government. We will discuss the choices made
by different groups of voters\, and how those groups are likely to fare
going forward.&nbsp\;This program is a presentation of Arlington Commun
ity Education and is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Arlin
gton. The evening will be moderated by journalist David Whitford.
