What Now? A Post-Election Roundtable
Arlington High School, 869 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA | Get Directions »
$5.00
How do we explain voter choice in the 2012 election? And what does the election mean for the future of the economy and jobs, health care, entitlement reform, tax policy, and immigration? In this post-election roundtable with political scientists Andrea Campbell and Devin Caughey of MIT and Deborah Schildkraut of Tufts University, we will analyze the outcome of the election and discuss the implications for public policy. With the nation's fiscal future hanging in the balance, the 2012 presidential and congressional races offered voters two starkly different visions for the role of government. We will discuss the choices made by different groups of voters, and how those groups are likely to fare going forward.
This program is a presentation of Arlington Community Education and is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Arlington. The evening will be moderated by journalist David Whitford.

I would ask that they discuss what impact Obamacare will have to full time workers. As it stands now for example, starting in 2014, companies with 50 or more full time emplotees, will have to offer healthcare. Isn't reasonable to guess, and as by proof, all over the internet, that these companies will downsize these employees to under 30 hours a week, thus not having to offer healthcare. This will force full time workers to part time workers, and they will have to get another job to make up their lost hours.
You have no idea who you voted for this election. Obamacare is going to hurt you, unless of course you belong to a union.
