$12.00
The ubiquitous Hava Nagila is ingrained in people’s consciousness worldwide. Everyone from Belafonte to Dylan to Elvis to Chubby Checker sang it. This charming and entertaining documentary uncovers Hava’s complex history – the bouncy melody created in the Ukraine, the lyrics seemingly authored in Israel and the joyful dance done at almost every Jewish wedding on earth. With cameos by Leonard Nimoy, Regina Spektor, Connie Francis, Glen Campbell and Needham's own Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman.
