DESCRIPTION:Arlington High School's chapter of the DoSomething Club will 
 be participating in one of DoSomething.org's national campaigns\, Teens 
  for Jeans\, hosting a jean drive in which all jeans collected will be d
 onated  to homeless shelters.\nAs  there are 1.7 million homeless in the
  US today\, ⅓ of the homeless population  is under the age of 18. The 
 number one item teens request when they visit a  homeless shelter is a p
 air of jeans and therefore a jean drive is needed.\nThe club promotes yo
 ung people to take  action for social change through  activism and volun
 teerism. Members are  encouraged to take part in both  national campaign
 s as well as local drives  supporting their community.  The club fundrai
 ses for different causes\,  volunteers in and around  Arlington and fost
 ers awareness about pertinent  issues both locally and  globally.\nIf yo
