Cookie samples, poetry readings, art exhibits, jewelry sales, and free craft activities for the kids are just some of the ways Capitol Square invites everyone to get in the mood for Valentine’s Day funded in part by a grant from the Arlington Cultural Council.

A Poetry Walk along Mass Avenue starting at Orvis Road featuring excerpts from poems written by local children, teens, and adults
“Choose Your Own Adventure at Fox!” for kids ages 6-9 with 20% off discount at the Little Fox Children's Resale Shop
Gift ideas and sales at Artwear and Maxima
Jewelry trunk show featuring the work of Caroline Golden and Ilana Krepchin at 13FOREST gallery
Samples of gluten-free goodies will be given out at Something Sweet Without Wheat and heart-shaped cakes available at Quebrada Baking Co.
$50 special menu all weekend at Flora
Saturday, February 9
Artbeat Creativity Store Valentine Making Extravaganza from 10am – noon
FREE Card Making from noon – 3pm at The Fox Library
Craft activity with jewelry artist Ana Cecilio at Marbella Kitchen and Bath
Salvage Grand Opening from 4pm – 7pm with sparkling beverages, chocolates and live music from 4 to 7 pm.
Sunday, February 10
Youth poetry reading at Artbeat from 4 to 5 PM during a cookie and card making reception.
